1. Main purpose
Synthetic Blood Penetration Tester HZ-9512 sprays a certain amount of synthetic blood on one side of the mask under test in a horizontal direction with a certain pressure and distance, and observes the penetration of the synthetic blood on the other side of the mask.

5. Standard test methods:
  Sample quantity: 3 finished masks;
  Sample pretreatment: the samples were pretreated at least 4h at the temperature of 21℃±5℃ and relative humidity of 85%±5%, and the samples were tested within 1min after being taken out;
  Test process: the sample was fixed on the instrument, and 2mL of synthetic blood with a surface tension of (0.042±0.002) N/m was sprayed horizontally from the needle tube with an inner diameter of 0.84mm at a pressure of 16kpa (120mmHg) at a distance of 30.5cm from the center of the sample to the target area of the sample under test;
  Treatment results: check whether there is infiltration on the inner side of the sample. If the visual inspection is suspicious, wipe the inner side of the target with a absorbent cotton swab or similar, and then judge whether there is synthetic blood infiltration.

6. Synthetic blood preparation method
  (1). Formula and composition
      a. Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC, medium viscosity) 2g
      b. Twain 20 0.06g
      c. Sodium chloride (analytically pure) 4.5g
      d. Methyl isothiazolone (MIT) 0.5g
      e. Amaranth red dye 1.0g
      f. Add distilled water to 1L

  (2) Preparation methods
      a.The sodium carboxymethyl cellulose was dissolved in 0.5L of water and mixed in a magnetic agitator for 60min. Twain 20 was weighed in a small beaker and mixed with water
      b. Add twain 20 solution to sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solution, wash the beaker several times with distilled water and add to the previous solution
      c. Dissolve sodium chloride in solution, add MIT and amaranth red dye, dilute with water to 1000g
      d. The pH of the synthesized blood was adjusted to 7.3±0.1 with a solution of 2.5mol/L sodium hydroxide.
      e. The surface tension of the synthetic blood should be (0.042±0.002) N/m when measured with a surface tensiometer
