ISO 4892-1 textile UV Aging Test Chamber HZ-2008A can simulate the damage caused by sunlight, rain and dew to materials. UV uses fluorescent ultraviolet (UV) lamps to simulate the effect of sunlight, and uses cold simulated moisture rain and dew. The tested material is placed in a cycle of alternating light and moisture at a certain temperature for testing. UV can reproduce the damage that occurs outdoors for months to years by testing for several days or weeks. The types of damage include: fading, discoloration, loss of gloss, chalking, cracks, turbidity, blistering, embrittlement, strength decay and oxidation.
