Generally speaking, PE film should have uniform color, without obvious discoloration, burnt, bubbles and other defects; the surface should be smooth and flat, without obvious bumps, wrinkles and other problems; the edges should be neat, without tearing, breaking and other phenomena. The thickness of PE film also needs to be tested, and thickness measurement is usually required to ensure that it meets the specified standards.

Common physical properties include tensile strength, breaking strength, elongation, etc. Tensile strength refers to the tensile strength of the PE film when it is stressed, that is, the maximum stress it can withstand; while breaking strength refers to the strength of the PE film when it breaks when stretched to a certain extent.

Thermal performance includes indicators such as heat shrinkage and heat resistance. Heat shrinkage refers to the degree of shrinkage of PE film after heating, usually expressed as a percentage; heat resistance refers to the ability of PE film to remain stable at high temperatures, generally expressed by heat deformation temperature.
