Oven-type tape retention tester is widely used in adhesive products industries such as adhesive tape, protective film, sticker, label, foam, adhesive, etc., for testing the adhesive tape retention at a certain temperature. Oven-type tape retention tester tests the ability of adhesive tape pasted on the test board in a specified way at a certain set temperature to resist displacement under the action of specified gravity along the length direction, and uses the time for the test piece to move a certain distance (or completely detach) and the distance moved in a certain time (or completely detached) to indicate the adhesive tape retention.


Operating procedure instructions

1. Cut a 25mm*150mm test piece, and do not touch the adhesive surface with your hands or other corners. For tapes with a width of 25mm or more, cut them into 25mm width. For tapes with a width less than 25mm, cut them to their original width. Take a test piece about 250mm long.

2. Clean the test surface with a suitable solvent such as volatile oil. After it is fully dry, wipe it with a clean cloth. Then stick the test piece to one end of the test plate so that the 25*25mm area of the test piece is connected to the test plate. Fold the unglued part inward with the adhesive side.

3. Use a rubber roller on the test piece to reciprocate each roller at a speed of about 30mm/second. After about 20 minutes, fix one end of the test plate and make the test piece droop. At one end of the folded part, enable the Suspend a load of 1000±10g under the principle of uniform load.

4. Put it into the machine for testing,

5. Turn on the power switch, and the power indicator light is on, indicating that the power has been input. Set the test temperature and test time, and start timing. After the test is completed, record the time and take the average value.
