The role of the mixer and the open mixer is to mix rubber or plastic and other rubber materials, the mixer belongs to the closed rubber mixer, the open mixer is the open rubber mixer, relatively speaking, the mixing opportunity is safer, dispersed and more uniform, rubber and other materials manufacturers will be equipped with a mixer and the open mixer or multiple open mixer for mixing raw rubber. Why is the compound mixed by the mixer also mixed by the open mixer?
When the mixer is working, the two rotors rotate relative to each other, and the material added from the feed will be squeezed and cut into the roll gap by the rotating force. The rubber material will be divided into two parts after passing through the roll gap and touching the lower top bolt edge, and then return to the top of the roll gap along the front and rear walls and the gap between the rotor. In the process of flowing around the rotor, the rubber will be subjected to shear and friction, which will cause the temperature of the rubber to rise sharply, reduce the viscosity and increase the wettability of the rubber on the surface of the compound, and make the rubber and the surface of the compound fully contact.

The compound mass in the mixer will be shear broken along with the compound through the rotor gap, the upper and lower top tie of the rotor, and the wall gap of the mixing chamber. It is surrounded by the stretched deformed rubber and stable in the broken state. The convex edge on the rotor makes the compound move along the rotor axis to play a mixing and stirring role to make the compound and the compound mix evenly. The rubber material subjected to shearing action is much larger than the open mixer, and the rubber temperature is high, so the rubber mixing efficiency of the mixer is much higher than that of the open mixer.

The rubber mixing machine mainly relies on two relatively rotating rollers to extrude the rubber material. After multiple extrusion, the macromolecular chain inside the thin rubber will be interrupted, so that the various components inside the rubber material are mixed evenly. The film discharged from the roll gap of the smelting machine is covered on a roll by the difference in speed and temperature on the surface of the two rollers, and is returned between the two rollers to complete the rubber mixing many times. In the plasticizing process, the molecular chain of rubber is changed from long to short, and the elasticity is changed from large to small, and the mixing thin pass of the mixing machine will make the surface of each rubber material constantly updated and evenly mixed. After feeding the mill, it is necessary to cut the pieces repeatedly by adjusting the roller distance. The manual strength of the open mixer is large, because the safety of the open mixer is also lower than that of the mixer, so the operation should pay attention to safety, and the automatic glue turning device can save manpower and reduce the labor intensity of workers.

In simple terms, the open mill only needs to use two rollers to mix the rubber, the two rollers of the open mill rotate relative to each other at different speed ratios and speeds, generate pressure, and squeeze the rubber several times to finally complete plasticizing and mixing.
